When Chef Philippe Chow opened the doors of his Upper East Side Chinese restaurant in 2005, it became an instant hit. Everyone from celebrities to socialites to food fanatics has been clamoring for a seat at the table ever since.
For a NYCWFF first, Philippe Chow is hosting a dim sum brunch at his famed eponymous restaurant on West 16th Street. And he’s bringing along a special guest to elevate your dim sum experience: Chef Dale Talde, a contestant and judge from “Top Chef,” and now owner/chef of Goosefeather in Tarrytown, NY, named ‘Best New Restaurant’ by Esquire Magazine.
This isn’t just a regular brunch at Philippe Chow; this is a special event curated exclusively for NYCWFF attendees—dim sum like you’ve never had it in New York before. Expect exquisitely crafted dumplings, flavor-popping pot stickers, succulent spring rolls and remarkable rice noodle rolls, among many other bite-sized delights.
Even better, there will be cocktail and wine pairings to round out this delightful dim sum brunch experience. Dim sum literally translates as “to touch the heart,” and Philippe Chow and Dale Talde are certain to make an impression on your heart and your taste buds.
