Alex Guzman

A native New Yorker of Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian heritage, Alex lived and worked in various parts of the country, including NYC, Miami and San Diego, taking on a number of positions in the hospitality industry. He gained valuable experience working both back and front of house positions at various restaurants, including Nemo, Joe’s Stone Crab, the Strand, Leslie Hotel and Harbour. In 2019, he and his wife, a first generation Bangladeshi-American, opened Archer & Goat in Harlem, NYC, in the neighborhood where they have lived for over a decade and now raise their young daughter. Archer & Goat is a reflection of the couple’s multicultural backgrounds with a curated menu showcasing a fusion of Latin American and South Asian inspired flavors.
