Crystal Lingle

Crystal is the head of culinary development at Home Frite, a unique gourmet burger concept designed for French fry fanatics. Co-founded with Ian Vernon, Home Frite made its debut at the internationally recognized food festival Smorgasburg in 2013. The venture quickly became a crowd favorite, earning the prestigious title of Best in Market at the Vendy Awards, often referred to as the “Oscars of Street Food.” Following this accolade, their fries were featured on the Rachael Ray Show and Fox and Friends.

Today, Home Frite continues to delight customers at Smorgasburg, the Bryant Park Holiday Market, and its restaurant in Bed-Stuy. With three locations currently in development, the team is excited to expand their concept and share it with a wider audience.

Crystal has over 24 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with a background that includes notable establishments such as Shake Shack and Blue Hill. She holds a degree in Hospitality Management from Penn State University and participated in a three-semester long Global Hospitality Management Program, which took her around the world to learn about diverse foods and cultures. Crystal’s passion for travel and delicious food continues to inspire her culinary journey.
